This Saturday from 12:00-4:00 Holy City Brewing will have a Cinco de Mayo shindig. CaptTang and myself will be smoking up some pork from Johns Island's own Legare Farms for our friends at Holy City. The pork will be served on tacos with your choice of vinegar slaw or pico de gallo. The sides will be some doctored baked beans and corn on the cob. Holy City will be selling the tickets for $7.00 and will have regular tastings/tours for $5.00. Special deal: get a food ticket and tastings for $12.00.  There will be live music from Champagne with Friends and Nikki Talley. Guaranteed to be a good time.

I think we are going. The Legare's are life-long friends of mine anyway,in fact the donkeys in my avatar are at their petting zoo. |
