We have decided to do a multi-family vacation (yep, we'll probably regret it later)in July down in the Charleston area. We have found several homes on Edisto that are located on Jeremy Creek. My desire is to put the boat in the water and leave it docked all week so we can come and go as we please. Does anyone here know anything about that area? Is the creek navigable during all tides? How hard is it to get in/out via the inlet there? Where is the nearest boat ramp?

Thanks

Capt Bob - yes it was. The beginning of a great friendship! And a hell of a day of fishing :). I think the house was called Boyleston dangerfield? Great place. Doug check Edisto Realty for vacation rentals

Op, Wasn't that when I idled down from Edisto Marina and picked you and your boys up? As in when we first met?

Is that on Edisto? I Have been looking on VRBO and they just list as being on Edisto, etc.. That is what I am looking for though, just being able to jump in and go whenever I want or throw a yak in the water a paddle a while.

Thanks

Doug, have a look at any of the rentals along Big Bay Creek with a dock. I rented one there a few years ago and it was sweet! Kept the boat at the dock all week. Grab a coffee, walk down the dock, fire up the boat and lines in the water in 10 min. Great sunsets from the back deck too.

Well I don't like the sound of that. Darn, doesn't sound like either of the houses we have found is ideal.

I believe the inlet is dry @ low water - in and out is dangerous.
