Had to work on a Raymarine system on an Albemarle at Edisto Marina yesterday. 30 minutes by water from Sam's Point Landing versus an hour and forty minutes by land. Wind blew like heck all the way over, then calmed a bit, so I fished my way back. Clear in the Edisto at the top of the tide, most other places were muddy after a mix of high tides and wind.

Didn't take bait, so fished artificials. Caught a nice trout in the Edisto River near the Government Cut on a spinner blade with Chartruese Gulp curly tail...but no more. Hit a couple of spots in the Combahee and caught a couple more trout, both undersized, and two small bass on Gulp shrimp under Cajun cork. Fished another drop and caught several slot bass on Gulp jerk baits, then the wind got up again.
