dad and lil bro went out this morning caught 3 black drum and 3 reds and some kinda fish anyone have a clue

i caught a few last year. they are off shore fish but they will venture inshore this time of year. I also caught a gag when i was catching these little guys. gag was not much bigger than the rock sea bass.

Yep Rock Sea Bass. They are also called Bank Sea Bass. Off the coast of Alabama they also call them squirrel fish.

that is a rock seas bass, its a small species that is usually 10 inches or less
