Posted - 07/27/2012 : 10:25:31 AM I am just trying to gauge if my experience is the norm or odd.
Has anyone had trouble getting support or warrenty parts from Sea Ray - Scout of Charleston off of Sportsman Drive? Additionally are there issues with Scout boats having cheap parts installed?
I bought a new 201 Bay Scout last year and have had minor issues through out the year mostly with small parts failing and 2 air voids. It just seems like it takes forever to get them resolved. For example, I have been waiting a month for a new female plug for my trolling motor. I pulled the old one for a look and it wasn't saltwater grade.
Is this the rule with them or the exception? |

Posted - 07/28/2012 : 11:05:41 AM Will do. Funny though, 1 1/2 hours after my post someone from Scout delivered my plug to the dealership. Makes you wonder.
Now if I could get the part for my swim platform in. Been waiting since May on that. |
