Got the opportunity to fish the weekend friday and saturday with Pops in the tailwalker tournament, weather held out perfect for us both days. Friday couldn't get on the livies so we tried to jig at the Richmond, still no luck, ended up floating dead baits on live rigs only to get "schneidered" in the words of Larry lol. Saturday we finally got on the good live baits, one cast and a full live well, two cast and were ready to run. Followed the SJ down to the no secret, pretty sparse fishing all day but we got our 1 shot.. I was woken up by a screaming reel and Larry doing the o s h i t number, LOL. Quickly cleared the lines and fought a nice king for 10-15 minutes, thought we lost her in the motors several times. Finally got it close and pulled a nice 36# king in the boat. The only right species fish we caught both days. It was a great weekend with awesome people- great to see everyone and special thanks dad none of this would be possible without you!!

Back to school until I Can convince Larry to get the boat out again.......

Come on
