I was given some spools of Mamoi and it's been in the garage for 2 years now and would like to use it to respool, anyone know how long line can sit in a controlled enviroment before wouldnt be wise to use? I'm talking 3000 yds on one spool and 1800 on another....

The line should be fine I've had mono and braid in the garage for as long as I can remember. When ever I had to spool up I just threw some of it on.

It's no good, send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly

Seriously, if it's stored indoors and out of sunlight it should be good for many years, but if ya got any doubts, send me a spool and I'll test it
