Not sure where to put this, but my wife and I are having our first son in June and she is wanting to decorate his room with "ocean/fishing" stuff. She is looking for an old string net to hang on the wall and put stuff like shells and whatever else on it. Problem is I have no idea where to find something like that around here. I was thinking some sort of old seining net or fishing net off a big boat???

Figured this would be a good place to start asking around, and I am willing to pay some for it too, but nothing crazy.

and befor somebody says "just GOOGLE it" She really is wanting something used and authentic not a new one that id have to sell my arm and leg for!!

Thanks,

Adam

Funny, reminds me of the Frank the tank line from old school "Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time"

Ditto on Pier One, also try Micheal's, Hobby Lobby or one of those home decorating stores.

Just leave your man card on the desk and walk away slowly!

if you are just looking for something decorative I'm sure you could just but some string and make your own.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

it may not be exactly what you want but alot of times you can find old batting cage netting on ebay/craigslist. it could pass as an old fishing net off a trawler. just a thought.
