Broke the jetties around 5 and headed south with plans of bottom fishing after a little trolling. Started trolling in 100' because we saw some huge weed mats and didn't really payoff so we headed out deeper and caught a few huge bonitas until about 10 we finally caught a dolphin about 20 lbs. in 150'. Worked that area for a while only to put 3 more slingers in the box. Headed in about 12:30 to bottom drop. Caught our limit of bliners pretty quick and about a dozen bsbs and a few other species. Rolled in at 35 mph on an awesome ocean. Nicest day I have been out on all year.
