Ingredients:
  • 4 dozen small clams
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 fresh ground garlic clove
  • Freshly ground black pepper
Procedure: Scrub the clams well and place them in a large pot with the remainder of the ingredients. Place over medium heat and steam until the clams open. Serve the clams in bowls in the cooking sauce.
