Quick Oat Puff Pastries - Miscellaneous

Ingredients:

1 C Hot Water

1/2 C Shortening
-
1/2 tsp Salt
-
3/4 C sifted flour
-
1/2 C quick or old fashioned oats (rolled)

4 eggs

Procedure:
|
Stir vigorously over low heat about 2 minutes, or until mixture forms ball. Remove from heat. Add eggs unbeaten, one at a time. Beat after each addition until smooth and satiny. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet about an inch apart. Bake in hot oven (400 F) 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from sheet and cool. Cut off tops and fill with tuna (or your favorite) salad.
