Fish: Trigger Fish ( 3 recipes )

Crispy Trigger Fish Filets - Fish n/a  (Hits: 445)
In a small mixing bowl, mix mustard, butter and honey. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs, and nuts. Season each fillet with salt and pepper and brush with mustard mixture. Top with bread crumb mixture and pat down. Bake in a 450 oven for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes with a fork.
Grilled Trigger Fish n/a  (Hits: 178)
Melt butter on low heat. Add garlic, salt, pepper, lemon and lime juice and keep warm. Preheat your grill to 425. Brush both sides of the triggerfish filets with mayonnaise. Place your triggerfish filets on the grill. Cook on one side for about 5 to 6 minutes and then carefully turn them over. Baste the filets with butter, garlic and juice mixture and baste over the top of each triggerfish filet. Cook for another 4 or 5 minutes. Take your spatula and slide up under each filet to ensure they are not sticking. If not, flip the triggerfish filets again. Baste again. Close lid for one more minute. Grill until fish flakes.

Take the stick of butter and melt it on a low heat. Add garlic, salt, pepper, lemon and lime juice and keep warm. Preheat your grill to 425. Brush both sides of the triggerfish filets with mayo Place your triggerfish filets on the grill. Cook on one side for about 5 minutes and then carefully turn them over. Take the butter, garlic and juice mixture and baste over the top of each triggerfish filet. Close the lid and cook for another 4 or 5 minutes. Take your spatula and slide up under each filet to ensure they are not sticking. If not, flip the triggerfish filets again. Baste again. Close lid for another minute. Open the grill lid and fork the triggerfish filets making sure they flake easily.
