got invited to stay the weekend with some friends on the lake close to Scarborough's Landing. i have never fished this area of the lake so i was excited about fishing new water. started friday afternoon mostly just looking around for good water to fish in the morning. fished 4 hours caught 3 all were 13". fri night stayed tooo late at potato creek bar so i never saw sat morning. did the sat afternoon thing about 6 hours of fishing and not a bite. not so excited now. i was the party pooper sat night so when i got up at 5 am sunday the party was still going. nobody wanted to go and i was told that "you aint gonna catch nuthin". At John C Land at 5:30, (never been here either)parking lot was empty. was very fogy, the top water bite was awesome till around 6:30 and the rest of the bite was over at 8:30! landed 6 fish 2 were short. all released alive
