I will be in Lexington Maryland in August (wedding). Located just north of were the Potomac and the Chesapeake come together. Water on three sides.
Anybody fish that area before? If so I would love advice about charter trips, restaurants, or any other advice.
Thanks in advance for any help. Chris

I don't know Lexington, But I use to live in Annapolis on the bay. Sept should be great for stripers and trout. The trout there go 10# and feed on bottom using peeler/shedder crabs for bait.
Naomi Cliffs where Potomac dumps into Chesapeake has fossils everywhere. Park a boat and walk along the clay cliffs and you can collect tons of them with just a scredriver to pry them out.
Get yourself a couple dozen of Maryland steamed crabs while there. They are great.

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.
