The blackfins are starting to bite, as well as wahoo. Give us a call, and let's get out there. The weather is looking great this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

We have better things to do then trying to post photos on a public forum. Instead of using forums to get a rise out of people, try actually getting out there. You want photos, go get a subscription to Marlin.

| I actually went wahoo fishing on tuesday and tried several things and couldn't find the hoos so i wasn't in the water where they were- i wasn't even requesting photos, but a simple report takes the same 1 minute to type up as does an advertisement trying to get people to go fishing on your boat........but if you your advertisement included a report of how well your fishing has been you would more than likely be getting more hits and more charters.....but hey, sorry for getting you bent out of shape |

Gasper is a very reliable source. He reported what is biting along with a weather forecast. I am sure if you want more info and politely send him a pm he would share some information with you.
Interesting responses though.

its really funny what gets people bent out of shape on this site
better things to do than post photos on a public forum but i will post about charters on a public forum.... doesn't exactly make sense and def doesn't look good on your business at all
im sure capt can catch the hell out of fish... so can many other capts. if im dishing out my hard earned money im gonna choose the side of customer service b/c there are plenty of options out there... |

This is why most people avoid posting on the intercaweb, a captain says something is biting and the douche patrol shows up to question his credibility. Thanks for posting captain a few of us still like inside info.
P.S.
Whoever wouldn't charter you because of this post would not have chartered you anyway. |

If you don't have a high post count and don't post pictures on this site you are not a good fisherman. It has been proven time and time again.

SAFMC wins again!!! If we could fish for Blackfish or grouper.....none of us would be on here fighting! The commercials are catching wahoo and blackfin, so it stands to reason that a competent charter crew could do the same. GO FISHING!!!

The captain's knowledge or ability to catch fish isn't being questioned; the issue is with the solicitation in lieu of an actual report.
That being said, I enjoy the posts/pictures as much as the next guy, and it can be a bit of a letdown when a post doesn't live up to its title. However, squawking about it seems childish and pointless at best. Instead of policing the posts of others, post your own instead...

X 100! And black bert thats not true i was looking for charters out of charleston for the end of this month. There is no reason i would not have booked these clowns before, but now i know who i will not book one with. And with all the people who read these posts i am sure i am not the only one. The only insider tip in this post is that in a business that is largely centered around customer service, yall have the worst around. Its a good thing for us there are other charters around who can catch fish.

Was going to let this slide, but just want to clear a few things up. First and for most, maybe I should of put this in the discussion section, but simply put a quick post about what is being caught. Really didn't think it was a big deal, figured maybe it was good information for some of you. (I didn't know CF was so seriously regulated) Second, my response about the pictures was simply sarcasm, I found it pretty funny how a topic about information turns into something unrelated. Did it upset me, not at all, my crew thought it was pretty funny.
Being accused of bad customer service does bother me though because it is 100% opposite of me, my charter business, and everything else I am involved in. I am in the customer service industry, that just so happens to fish, and based upon my clients I work very hard at it. And based upon my other venture involvements, I do it well.
There are many people that I disagree with their business and personal practices, but as an adult I choose to go about my own business and not slander them, it's not that important to me. LOL obviously many do not share the same practice.
When it comes to soliciting charters, we all do it, and we do it for each other as well, we are a tight group that work together for our businesses, and do it because we want to stay out on the water and enjoy the reactions when people experience their first bill fish or a great family day out on the water.
Hopefully this will help end this all this back and forth and maybe get some of ya'll to think about getting your boats out there instead.
