Stole my buddies dog yesterday and went to Summerton and chased some birds. Found 3 coveys in about 2.5 hours. Wild birds, one covey had 30+ in it. Killed 1 bird out the first rise, 3 out the 2nd and didnt get to the 3rd one in time and they flushed. Dogs did great. Good to know there are still some places with good numbers of wild birds in the state, and we left plenty.

nice.. I shot my first and only double up there last year,(oaklea) found three covies as well.Took my dogs back up a few weeks ago, the place was covered with guys and dogs.I heard only four shots all day,the rain drove everyone out.After two more hours of searching we left without a point.I thought maybe this drought had taken care of the last few birds.Glad to see you found em.
