Real Recruiting Help!

http://www.gogamecocks.com/2012/02/07/200698/ggf-usc-hires-new-compliance-ad.html

Hired by USCjr. Was formerly over football program compliance for Ohio State for the last 4 years! With penalties to be handed down in 10 days from the NCAA, is this the best hire or strategy to help? It would be hard to just make this stuff up?

Why this hire?
a. USCjr already knows the punishment
b. Does not care of image portrayed to football or NCAA
c. Need to "step up" to SEC current compliance standards
d. All above.

He was the assistant. Not "over" compliance.
He was not involved in the NCAA issue. Not that I can find.

Before this link was updated, it did state that Chris Rogers was "directly" over the football and track programs at Ohio State. I have no idea to what degree "directly" means in this situation. I also had no idea the article would be updated and polished to remove orignal language or statements.
