7 year old Labrador Retriever for stud. Up to date on shots and veterinarian exams. Hips and eyes cleared. Weighs 76 lbs. Very sweet demeanor with adults, children, and other dogs. AKC registered and from a hunting bloodline. Looking for a female from a hunting/working bloodline. No stud fee, I just want pick of litter. Need a successor to begin training. Email with any questions or for more pictures.

English Labs bark with a different accent and love drinking Guiness while watching soccer.
English Labs have a shorter stature than American Labs and are generally smaller (thought there is a wide range of sizes for American Labs). English Labs are also characterized by a shorter snout, "block"ier head, and thicker neck. There is no widespread recognition of breed differences between English and American varieties. You can cross an American with an English and still have an AKC recognized Labrador Retriever litter. Most people just note the differences in stature and appearance. I want to maintain the English characteristics that I have with my current Labrador in his successor. All personal preference.

I bred my American chocolate female to a monsterous British chocolate male and got 7 of the most perfect chocolate puppies one has ever seen. I kept a British girl who looks nothing like her mom. They are wonderful dogs but you have to be gentle with them while training. They are very soft and somewhat time consuming. BUT, once you get them going.... hard to stop them. Both of my girls will fetch birds all day long. Wish I didnt have to fix mama dog, but she got boobie cancer last year and we hade to fix her.

"What is an english lab. Heard of them whats the diffference."

English Lab is code for, "...my dog is better than yours."

American Lab is code for, "...backyard trash that is not breed to the more rigourous standards of the English Lab."

It is what it is.

It ain't as bad as the pig tries to make it sound.

Eryc I just bred Sable (my yellow) with a yellow American Lab. He throws mostly light yellows with nice otter tails. Great hunting/working bloodline. If things dont work out you are more than welcome to look at the pups we will have. They should be here on or around the 12th of Nov.
