While Striper fishing on Hartwell yesterday I managed to land three Largemouths that would have weighed in at over twenty pounds. Probably closer to twenty three. I just had to show them off to a few of the guys prefishing the FLW event coming up at Hartwell. After holding the fish up. I asked if it was what they were looking for? You should have seen the looks on their faces. Well big fish news must travel faster than a small center console with a 90 Johnson? You would have thought I was Tiger Woods approaching the 18th hole at the Masters when I got back to Portman Marina!!! Some of the guys were pointing and whispering amongst themselves, and one finally walked up and asked me if I was the guy with the three big Largemouths? I answered yes, and while I had already released the fish, showing them to a few of the FLW fishermen was enough proof!! I showed all that were interested where I caught them, on a map, and what I caught them on. Which was 10"-13" Gizzard Shad.
I wished them all the best in the upcoming event, and headed home. When I arrived and was telling my wife. She asked why I didn't get any pics. I told her that I had left my fishing camera at home. She the asked "why didn't you take some with your cell phone dumba$$"?
OOOOOOOPS!!

In 6'n 20 creek. All three of the big bass were caught off the point just past the hwy. 78 bridge. On the left at the end of the swimming area at Anderson Beach. I caught one two weeks ago over ten pounds back out of the creek a ways. Again just off of a point. 6'n 20 is loaded up with big bass right now. I've probably caught two dozen over six pounds this year. I just wish I was doing a little better on the Stripers??

Went down to Clarks hill and fished Sunday. God is that lake low. Caught 2 stripers in about an hour. Both about 10-12 pounds.
