I put this camera out on Saturday night. It started raining and rained all day Sunday. I pulled the camera this evening. This is what it captured. The blurry ones are from a wet lense and it was drizzling rain. Driving in to the camera this evening at 5pm...we counted dozens of birds all over the shoulder and in the middle of the dirt road leading to this small food plot.
Guess I better get out the thunder chicken vest and tune up the slates! Couple of nice toms in that rainy pic....and a good lookin group of ladies too. That will get you fired up

Paul, I have never seen so many birds out there. Just walking in...they were everywhere. Hope you are ready....let me know when you want to go. I just realized, Wes is 17 and can hunt the youth day Saturday before the season opens. Will these birds still be grouped up like this on April 1st or will they split up and disappear on us. Rick
With as early as the birds have been cranking up this year, they should be broken up well before april 1st. Have already been seeing some of teh groups of birds splitting up for several weeks already and gobbling has been going in since before valentines day in areas. Should be hot right off the rip, very thankful my lease barely falls in game zone 6 so that we open march 15...otherwise i think my birds would be about done by the time april 1 gets here. G'luck to all
