Not sure what you are looking for but try eBay. They pretty much have everything if you cant find it local.

been trying it all winter. All I see is 25-50 yard spools at fairly high prices. I am looking for large bulk spools. |

I found this website looking for bulk fluoro in the 80# range. Its the best I've come across for heavy trolling leader. I don't know anything about this brand though...

Got it, but have a question. No where on the spool does it say "leader". this link has the picture of exactly what i bought (I haven't opened it). It iwas made in Germany (probably good stuff) Is it line or leader ?

there is fluoro line and fluro leader. pretty much the same, but leader is supposed to be tougher. both have heavier breaking strength than the lb test listed. line is made to be spooled and cast. i have been using line forever for leader. as a matter of fact i use "vanish" fluoro line from berkley. it's pretty inexpensive. i use for popping cork and tied to 15lb braid with a uni to uni. i use the 20lb test. i have used seagar fluoro leader and if there is difference i haven't been able to tell yet. if you don't like vanish, several companies offer fluoro line and leader. leader is way more expensive than line.

If the refraction properties are the same and the breaking points are the same then it will not make a difference to me whether its leader or line. I will only use 60-80 fluoro for leader anyways. I can assure.you it doesn't cost $70 to produce a 50 yd spool of fluoro "leader". Basically its all a giant scam...
