Had 2 days during the middle of last week that only produced 4 or 5 reds. We could see them just didn't want to eat. Bite really picked up this past Friday and has been on since that front pushed through. Reds are eating quartered blue crab and shrimp, as well as the Z-man in Smokey Shad and Redbone colors. Targeted a few spots for trout over the past couple days on artificials. Caught a half dozen Friday and Saturday on Z-man GrubZ black and goldflake. All trout over 17" and were sitting in 8-10' of water. Sheepshead still biting inshore on clams and oysters. Going to try this year to post more updates and info as I can. Looking like it's going to be a great fishing year!!
