So i'm a student at CofC and don't always have time to travel to my favorite fishing spots. I went to Waterfront Park one day a while back and saw that someone had caught some really nice sheepshead off the pier using fiddler crabs. You guys think that's a good idea? Would they even be feeding on them this early in the year?

When I say Waterfront park, I mean the pier off of the peninsula by East Bay St, not Mt. Pleasant Pier.

I think you weren't allowed to fish down there, are you talking about near the pineapple fountain ??

Yep. I've used a cast net to catch shrimp down there before. The guy was definitely fishing down there.
