Full Strut decoys, I think i may try one this year. I have always used a jake and a hen or just a hen. My only concern is a full strutter may run off younder toms. Anyone have experience with them good or bad?

I used one last year and both jakes and gobblers came running straight to it.

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.

Have hunted with a pretty boy since they came out years ago...If you hunt birds that have had not much experience with those decoys, then they are phenominal. Every year they seem to be a little more "educated" on the full strut decoys each year more and more, but this all depnds on hunting pressure and how they are hunted. That being said, I guarantee over the last 5 years I have had pretty boy knocked off the stake and jumped on at least a 12-15 times. Would definately use a natural fan vs the carboard one they give you with it...but not in the public woods! I usually leave it in the golf cart during the "run and gun" hours of the early mornings(pretty boy is big and bulky and a lot to carry long distances), but use it all the time during late morning and afternoon set-ups. Long story short, I still do not leave home without it. Hope this helps and g'luck!
