Tigers rally to hand Gamecocks their first loss of the season. Somehow, even though we lost 2 out of 3, it feels real good.

Still, your Gamecocks have a great team.

Game winning run in the bottom of the 9th probably had something to do with it.

Only a Tiger fan would start a post to celebrate losing more games than they won :-)

Good to get a win against Tanner's boys. Leggett has a lot of work to do to get those boys playing up to championship level ball. Carolina looks to have just reloaded, again.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I hope Carolina runs the table and wins their 3rd straight national title...but I was sure glad to see the Tigers get 1 win in the series!

Uh...nope. This was to boast about handing the cocks their first loss. Celebrating the fact that 100% of the time you got beat this year, it was by Clemson. I was absolutely ignoring the fact that you beat us twice in the process.

h*ll i'll boast only winning 1 out of 3! Last time I checked the coots were back to back NC's...and until proven otherwise they are the team to beat. I do not see my Tigers winning the NC this year, so I see it as par for the course taking only 1 of 3....

Seriously though, the coots are on the verge of making even bigger yet history in collegiate athletics, and for that they shoud be proud no doubt. Still woulda liked to have seen the Tigs take the series, but im realistic

closer to lamest quote of the year. Why would Carolina be crying after winning the series? Were they supposed to go undefeated? If either team shed any tears over the weekend they were wearing orange. Friday nights game had to be heartbreaker. So much so Clemson wouldn't leave Charleston the next morning in hopes of bad weather moving in Saturday in Columbia to possibly postpone the game.

I am absolutely loving this university of clemson 1 out of 3 pride. It does my heart good to know that they are kidding about losing the series. I am proud of them knowing that it is a good thing to take 1 out of 3. That makes them winners, and I respectfully salute them being completely incomplete.

I hereby bestow upon them this years "State of South Carolina Award For Being 100% Successful In 33% Of This Years Baseball Series".

It shall from this time forward be known as the SoSCAFB100%SI33%OTYBS Award.

And they deserve it.

After all, this 1/3 thing is getting to be a tradition.

They did score 1/3 of the points in the 2012 Orange Bowl.

Pretty heady stuff...

IM4USC, I really don't think its a "1 out of 3" pride as much as it is some of us tiger fans are willing to give credit where credit is due and recognize how rare it is for a baseball team to appear this dominant again for a 3rd year. This is the same type credit you make pretty obvious yourself would never be willing to recognize to any other team other than USC...but congrats again, I dont mind saying it, that team is special.

do tell me though, how's the ole round-ball program working out for ya? I hear they were on the verge of setting a school record or two, or do the blinders keep you from recognizing sports they are not doing well in?
