Has any body been hog hunting, or seen any hogs? I'm going saturday, and I'm looking for any help or sightings. Thanks!

I bet my fish is bigger then yours...

Was having very good success in Jan and Feb with them moving in daylight hours(7 w/bow, 1 350# w/rifle), but have not been since around valentines day with turkey season coming up. Was hunting private land near the santee delta, had best success stalking them on rice field edges and old dike systems out in the rice fields. Wish I could give ya a better report, just have not been in a couple weeks...g'luck!

Wow, 7 with a bow, stalking them like a forest creature. That's primal skill hunting right there.

yea but i was on private land kinda cheating....the ole post hole digger, a 2ft hole, and corn every couple hundred yards down the rice field edges works great usually would only put about 5-10#'s in each hole just to keep them checking. Much easier to stalk within 20yds when they have their head in a hole! lol and I wont lie, the 350 was taken from a tree stand....had I been on ground with the string gun I might have just gone the other direction...it was a beast!
