scouting today and putting out cameras. Hope there are as many birds as I saw during deer season. I'll probably see more deer now

yeah, i would imagine after last saturday, there's probably a lot of soft spots. my swamp behind the house has been dry since last year, after last weekend it was holding about a foot of water.

Partners, I almost spent an extended day in the mud yesterday myself while scouting...while our roads are still in great shape, I am thinking in hindsight now that it was not a good idea to even let my truck tires touch the field edges! I did some "custom plowing" on the field edge for about 20 mins before I finally inched my way out at about 4,000rpms.lol. Did have some pretty patternable pics of longbeards on camera and listened to a bird gobble decent after fly down....let the sleep deprevation(sp?) begin for me next thurs!!!
