I've heard good reports from the dam to clouds creek. I've caught keepers from the dam to spinners in the last few weeks. I've caught them up against the bank and in 120' of water. I've had days where they hit only freelines and planers. Other days they most hits came on downlines. I fished last Saturday night and got skunked in crystal lake, but that weather probably had them screwed up. I know that is pretty vague, but it seems like they are moving and changing a lot the last couple weeks. I did see a school over in front of the beach thursday while driving across the dam. Covered a pretty good area.

went out for about an hour to play with the depth finder some and marked fish in 30' and 100+. many boats at the landing had fish. reports came from the dam to ballentine/beards creek to the gap....Fish are pretty much spread out all over. Birds are still working pretty heavy so they should help you get started. Give us a report, I too am gonna try this sunday, we'll see how that goes...

I haven't been myself, but talked to a couple of friends this week and it sounds like they've been doing real well pulling freelines. Every where they mentioned was in the lower half of the lake.

I'm trying for Sunday too. Fished the coast some this winter and had a great time, but it'll sure be nice to get back to fishing without having to drive 120 mi each way.
