Yes. Look it up. I for the life of me can't figure out why people would rather ask clowns on the net versus looking up the answers. I guess that explains why we have so many clowns in the forest that are clueless about the regs.

I wouldn't go on a piece of public land without having hunter orange covering half of my body.
Mark Mako 262 Twin Yammaha F200s Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

| Come March 15th, how many do you expect to see hunting turkeys on public lands, because they did not read the regs. |

VISIBLE COLOR CLOTHING 7.1 On WMA lands during any gun and muzzleloader hunting season for deer, bear and hogs, all hunters, including small game hunters, must wear either a hat, coat, or vest of solid visible international orange, except hunters for dove, turkey, ducks, geese and other migratory birds are exempt from this requirement while hunting for those species

public land or private
big game or small
required or not required
I always have a orange vest stuffed in a pocket
No different than carrying a flashlight, folding saw, cord, butane lighter.........certain things should always be in your pack.
I've been turkey hunting WMA in the past and have someone walk in on me, pull the vest out of my pocket and shake it until he sees it and he turns around and goes back the way he came.
It ain't as bad as the pig tries to make it sound.

| I first started turkey hunting when I was 18 and had some people spot my decoys and set up on them. I didn't have any orange but jumping up an down waving my arms worked. It scared the **** out of me. Now I don't leave to hunt anything without something orange that I can wave in the air. |

A little harsh response and wrong at that. But it is very easy to go to SCDNR's web site.
