Does anyone know of one for sale within driving distance? I have the ultimate 14.5 and love it, but it's not self bailing so crossing the occasional monster wake on the ICW seems sketchy at best.
Thanks, O.C.

Any reason you want the magic over the mariner? The mariner is a current production boat and is a SOT. I have the Mariner and love it.

I like the open cockpit of the magic and ultimate. Both are very stable boats, tried them both at the kayak festival a couple years back. I prefer to stand and fish and the ultimate is the ultimate for that. Problem is, you can swamp it so I'm a little sketched about submerging my reels in salt while trying to get to the flats I have in mind.(ICW)My other option is carrying an ultimate 9.5 in my skiff. I'm not sure how stable that boat is and I would look like a bear on a unicycle in it. That, of course, matters not to me. I'll look at the mariner online and evaluate.
Thanks, O.C.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not down with the motor. Intersting boat though. Looks like a platform on the back for gear I suppose. I didn't see that boat without a motor.
