i was doing very well for reds and trout in january, then havent caught either fish since. i was wondering if i just sucked for a while until i hooked a bus tonight as the tide was coming in right at dusk. 14lb line and a 6 foot 6 medium action spinning rod was all i was using while casting a green and orange jig but finally killed the no redfish spell in cooper river after my drag quit screaming. 30" and 12lbs also a personal best without the aid of a charter captain.
