Had to pull the offshore boat out of the water for some yearly maintenance. Since it was a nice day, my kids and nieces wanted to come along and of course they wanted to do some fishing. After accepting the challenge, we caught the tide right at the last of the outgoing and used some shrimp to catch 7 reds between 14" and 28" in the Wando. We lost a few more due to the limitations of the Snoopy and Dora rods around the pilings, but no big deal. We released all the fish we caught anyway. The kids had a blast and I managed to keep the boat out of the mud (for the most part). This was the only picture I managed to take of my 8 year old niece.

I had live shrimp when I left the house, but by the time we started fishing, they had died. It didn't seem to bother the fish, though.

Where'd you get the live shrimp? The cold water usualy kills them this time of year anyway.
