Son & I are both members and received a letter from them today stating they are getting some Congressmen & Senators onboard with our concerns about the fishery issues/closures.
The Sea Bass closure going on right now is just part of what is going on. As you may know, Red Snapper has been closed for a loooong time. Many more species are closed to fishing as well.
I have more to say but I am just hoping to get the point accross. If you like your right to fish they need all the help we can give them.
When the Cobia & others hit the list some of you will get involved IMO.
Thanks double n. they need more members and support. Big war ongoing to get our access and right to fish where it should be in d.c.
The Feds are ignoring our dnr data showing two cobia populations, btw. May will be right in the middle of when they want a spawning closure.... They don't care that we've been restocking. Goal is lazier management and for us to be desperate enough to accept radical stuff like catch shares.
