Hey March 25th is coming up fast...I have not seen any comments lately on the IFA Kayak Tour in Savannah. I will be attending but I was wondering who is all going from SC.

Would be great to meet and great prior to and maybe even caravan down.

I will be going as well. I have done one scouting trip last week in Savannah. I caught one 20" red and two trout 12-13". So not a great report, but better than last year. Might try the Beaufort area again or closer to home. Don't know what i'm doing just yet but I would like to hook up with a couple of others to share some of the cost. DDOlson, Yakin4redfish & 5151 are you guys committed to the Savannah area.

Reading the rules I'm understanding that we need to get a GA Fishing License for the event. I would prefer more fishing time then driving time to get to the check-in.

So I would prefer to fish the Savanna area or close to that depending on weather (winds) that day.

I can tell you this...I'm committed to the IFA Tournament not sure about the fishing area.

I don't have a problem to hook up to share cost either but the last time I talked to my wife she was interested in just paddling around and enjoying a day on the water as well (no fishing).

I may have to hang my hammock from my kayak trailer to sleep.

The marina is not a safe launch. There is no ramp and it sits 20+ feet up in the air. They have to hoist boats up with a very sketchy looking crane. There is a ramp a few miles up river but I can't remember the name.
