| Saw a comment posted in another online forum, that the Charleston Law School was destroying the law profession in SC. Any one have insight into that comment? |

I don't have any firsthand info about it. Just another law school, there are so many in theUS. Why did the commenter feel that way?

I assume you are trolling for responses, but I will address the question nonetheless. Argument usually revolves around CSOL flooding the market with more attorneys than the South Carolina market can bare. Problem is, too many USC Law graduates think going to USC Law should be a intstant ticket to a legal career. They get upset when they get beat out by a lawyer from another law school for a position they think they ought to get. This argument is also flawed because these upset USC grads do not take into consideration that the depression in the legal job market also has a lot to do with the depressed economy.

My uncle is a retired attorney. I have a great friend who is an attorney. I tell them every joke about them I hear.
Why don't leeches attack lawyers? Professional courtesy.

BH, if you knew him personally you would know that he is definitly in the 5%,one of the good ones for sure. Agree with ya most definitly on the 95% tho!

I don't understand this. Aren't there 2 sides to each case? a lawyer on the good side and a lawyer on the bad side (I realize this is based on your reception).

| Sides don't really matter anymore in regards to finances. The only ones who ALWAYS walk away with tons of money in their pockets are the lawyers on BOTH sides. The courts are now awarding financial settlements based on the ability of the person to pay. They have become socialists. The system is broken and know one cares. |

Just like every other profession, there are great attorneys and there or horses butts.
My wife is a paralegal and has worked for both kind in her career. Pretty sure I know which camp Phin and Duckcommander reside.
