It's the wrong time of year for spots, isn't it? And, are you talking about Price's Creek inlet? My wife and my cousin love spot fishing but we usually go for them in Oct.

I was catching them last week in the Folly. Oysters and bits of shrimp were their choice of bait. If I had known they were so abundant I'd fried a few! And now black drum! Go figure?

They move down our coast in the Fall and back up it in the Spring.
