Went up around the hatchery today, caught 1 small one and missed a few. I didn't find any on the beds, but had luck in about 5 foot of water with a carolina rig. Also saw 3 deer on one of the long skinny islands, that kind of blew my mind. I wonder how they got out there and how they actually keep alive.

Didnt fish the hatchery but did fish around Bonneau and some spots in the Upper lake yesterday. Slow day we picked up 3. One female (5lbs) and 2 bucks. All in about 3ft of water. Maybe next time.

I have an Allison because the fish don't always bite!!!
