been ripping out the POS fence in my backyard and was wondering if it was worth trying to take it to charleston steel and metal or should i just leave it for the city to collect...
also just removed a useless sateilite dish from my roof. concerned b/c the screws whoever installed it went way into the roof. if i just install a shingle over the area should it be good?

What they said^^^^ Sell it as scrap. I had a golf cart that I had stripped all the re-usable electrical parts from. the rest was all rusted. So I scrapped it. Got $80 for it and it weighed way less that fence.

i cleaned up about 2 months ago and it was .13 per lb. but sorry to say don't get your hopes up. the chain link(or fabric as its referred to) is considered 'undesirable". I'm assuming it has something to do with their equipment used in the recycling process.
