Well--the landings are full of trucks --so someone must be fishing. but no one is talking about it. Shellcrackers out of stumphole landing??? Pack's Landing is full.....have not seen that much traffic in two/three years....everything must have started early....
Stripers are doing good in the river. Several big fish (25#) have been caught---cut bait (herring) on sandbars--all times of day and night. Watch the measurements---Wildlife dept. has been checking.
well...i fished stumphole landing today...covered a lot of water....picking up some nice bream but no shellcrackers...a lot of boats out here....
I guess i need a mentor to teach me to fish for shellcrackers and bream......come on -- any takers on this ??????? I'll buy the bait...pay for the gas.....tell jokes...and won't drink your drinks.....
we caught about 10 shellcrackers yesterday near prices bridge landing in horseshoe creek. also about 5 redbreasts and one lil bass. haven't fished at the lake yet this year.
