Captain Reed Simmons was on a charter when they caught this monster drum in the ICW. The bait was crab and the fish was almost 60in long and 80lb

Wowwee

Any man that doesn't know how to catch a fish, shouldn't disgrace a fish, by catching it.

Good looking fish. I'm sure it was released healthy and really don't need to know how much it weighs.

Awesome catch! I lost a couple fall that were close to that size . It's crazy to see their backs out of the water , even more so when you realize that water is at least two feet deep.

Internet weights are always going to be questioned. Especially when a 30lb Boga is being used and a weight of 80lbs is thrown out. That is a monster black drum and I am sure Reed was excited and even more so his clients. Congrats to them on that.

I wouldn't doubt 80 hell it's as big as the guy on the right

If that one is 80lb how big is this one? Caught it a few days ago on a nearshore wreck.
