it's that time again boys and girls!
May 19, 2012
- $20/person entry (entry fees must be paid prior to tournament)
- Boundaries are NORTH INLET and WINYAH BAY ONLY
- Cannot go past breakers of North Inlet nor past 1st set of Jetty Rocks nor into ICW
- Fishing from Sun-up til weigh-in at 2 pm aboard the Big Nasty or beach, weather dependent
- DNR rules apply
- you can be disqualified for being a Douchebag
- Payout: 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%.
- $20 Big Fish Prize (optional)
- updates may be added at any point and are non-negotiable
- High Tide 8AM, Low Tide ~ 2pm @ Clambank
Captains Meeting @ Lands End (Georgetown) 6pm-until, May 16th. Registrations may be paid then if not mailed in.
Mail entries to 1843 Pickens Street, Georgetown SC or drop @ Tailwalker Marine.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will put on the FB page as well.

So is it a limit of fish by weight? I am interested. will be at Pawleys that weekend.Just need a few more detailes.

each angler can weigh 1 fish (biggest fish) and each boat (if entered Big Fish) can weigh 1 fish. I don't do aggregate tourneys on Flounders. Let the small ones swim and only keep what you can eat without freezing.

Entries must be paid prior to tournament. So you can either pay me @ Captains Dinner, drop off entry @ Tailwalker Marine, or mail to myself (1843 Pickens Street, Georgetown SC. Make checks out to Philip Sawyer). Looking forward to it!

57 anglers on 24 boats.
Duff Dawson 1st place 3.15 lb $1000
Mike Small 2nd place
Millison Jordan 3rd place
Only a dozen or so fish were weighed in. We actually managed to pull in a trout while trolling as well. Thanks to all and see you again next year!

There was a 10lb'er caught in MI today........see facebook
I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I'm going fishing...!!

We fished a little north. Thought about entering tourney but the Wx changed our mind. It was probably the coldest day I can remember fishing in May.
Only had 1 fish at 5pm. Ended up with 5 fish largest 21" fished until almost dark.

Yes, it was cold! We caught short flounder and redfish and almost had a trashfish slam .
