I will be in town this weekend and assuming the weather is good thinking about going offshore. Just curious if anyone else will be out.

I know the run is sat, and unexcuse me if this sounds like I am being smart, do people not go fishing when the race is in town? I don't live in charleston am I missing something here.

cltdeer, we planning on sat too. out of edisto of course. if you would like to avoid the traffic, be more than welcome to launch at edisto with us. 2 boats better than 1.

Just avoid shem creek and remleys and launch at the cut and you will be fine. Where are you planning on fishing?

I launch off James island normally. Not sure of my offshore plans I won't know that til day before. It's a little dependent on my crew.

Stay away from Remley's or shem creek with the run going on. Should be cleared up by late afternoon. Car traffic and closed streets make it very difficult....

I was thinking you might have a hard time finding people to go because of the run.

All my friends and I have always done the race every year if we can.
