Fished Folly for a couple of hours on Sunday after the rainstorm, and caught three sea mullet and a sting ray. Two of the sea mullets were decent size. They were all caught on a bottom rig with shrimp. I posted a picture of the rainbow, while I was fishing!!

Never heard folks around here call sea mullet. Whiting/Southern Kingfish is what it looks like are on your line. You from North Carolina?

Congrats on your catch!

When I was growing up on the piers and surf in NC the only people that I remember referring to them as whiting were folks from up north. We also call the red drum "drum" but most everything else seems to have the same name around here.
