Joe...theres a really cool furniture place in honey hill...but is actually considered Jamestown called the furniture barn.....open on weekends only..high quality furniture of many brands at great prices....and lots of choices...nice family run biuness and great place to look if you don't mind the drive....
Girl at work bought a solid wood rice bed set from there. 600 less than a local store...same make.

If the wife and you are up for it, I'd suggest making a trip to High Point, NC. It's commonly referred to as the "furniture capital of the world", and it's quite common to get really high-end stuff at wholesale prices. Our home is furnished with stuff from there that we'd never be able (or willing) to purchase at retail cost. Oh yeah, I have a 24' enclosed trailer and would be happy to help you out if you needed it. Let me know.

I had the same issue. Charleston just doesnt have a IKIA or anything. So we ordered online from Target, got shipped here very fast. However, opened the box and the frame was cracked(skinny white pine boards),material was wripped in three places, and of all things to top it off it was MADE IN CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!! Go figure. I dont buy anything if I can help it thats made there. Hope you find something.
