woke up early this morning. took a look at the tide chart. looked about right for an early morning trip

drank coffee... sat on the couch... feelin lazy... oh screw it i wont catch em if i dont go

got to the spot. 3rd cast boom nice 16" trout in the cooler. bite was good for about 20 minutes or so. released 3 other trout and missed about 3 to 4. grrrrrr had a nice one jump off as well

all caught on a tsunami swimming minnow. what a great bait

finally figuring out the artificial thing.... kind of. can't wait till the end of next month to start tearing up the spanish on gotchas at folly. absolutely love feeling the strike on artificials.

great morning now off to work for the afternoon. gonna get out there again soon

if you come into charleston from I-26 take exit 220 and go over the ravenell bridge (the really big one that goes over charleston harbor) if you see an old aircraft carrier (patriots point) to your right, thats the right one. be in the right lane and once over the bridge you will see a sign pointing right towards patriots point...take that right directly after the bridge. been a bit but i think around half mile later theres another road going to the right and a sign pointing to the pier and some park...take that right. the pier is pretty much right under the ravanell bridge.
