decided i'd try to shoot a hog friday after work behind the house. i've been throwing some corn out every couple days or so(feeder is broken). i got 2 large boars coming around quite often, a couple times on cam around 8:30-9:30pm. the wife looked at the pics from cam and said i need to go kill them! i checked the sunset time (7:41), and decided i'd sit til 8:41. at 8:30 hear them walkin through the water. i turned on my video camera and hit record. in the near darkness, i watch as the two large boars walk by my ground blind at 15yds. i turn on my small green flashlight so i can try to get some footage but they took off as soon as i turned it on. oh well. it was exciting being that close to them and hearing them grunting/snorting. almost makes me wish i was in a tree stand, lol.

Pistol with iron sights and a good maglight would make short work of them!

Looking forward to a pic of one of those monsters in the back of your truck! I'm sure you'll get another chance at them. They look like BBQ with attitude!! Any idea or guesstimate on weight? They look stout to say the least.

2 rank bo hogs. Catch them like that at night again with a semi auto and some buckshot, blast the hell out of them, drag them to the nearest big ditch and deposit. It'll take the buzzards a week before they'll touch them.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

i don't think they're quite as big as i originally thought, but i'd guess at least 200lbs. i don't own a handgun, but they did come sunday evening at 8:15pm, so i might give them a shot tonight. i will attempt to eat them if i get one. the other one i killed down there was almost 200lbs and he tasted fine. these do look a little bigger/nastier, but i won't know unless i try.

Remember to bleed them ASAP and cut out thier manhood ASAP. This will help with the taste.
