Heading down to some new water mid May. I've fished Ft Walton/Destin/Panama City so I'm going to assume most of what works there will work over to the west. If anyone has some good information they are willing to share, I would appreciate a jump start on where to go. Still trying to do some research but can't find much more than general area information. Guess I can't complain because I don't exactly post my "spots" for our out-of-towners...

Northeast side docklights of Ono Island. Any clouser type will work, but killed them on a "skunk" colored number.

worked there for the oil spill- sick sick trout fishin...im 100% with reelkarma - clousers. 50-60 trout not a shocker.
cobia on the cans @ the surface and nice sharks, bull reds off the islands in shallow

Better meet up with Joe and Tommy. I bet they could put you on some Louisiana reds! Haha

There is no greater fan of fly fishing than the mud minnow.
