a late report but headed to my creek that i tend to bring the fish up on last sunday. Didnt get on the water till around 3 got to the spot tide was coming up ended up being a flood tide but had some eddies come off the grass out the mouth of a small creek. threw a mud minnow out and boom a nice 2lber. get him in the boat and got a fresh minnow on and hit almost she same place..as soon as it hit the bottom another keeper. so i take my other rod with the popin cork out and throw it up against the grass and 5 min later a big ole boy slammed it!! got him up in the boat. guess him close to 4 but i think he was 3 in a half but a really nice trout. ended up getting a slot red before we left to. nice day on the water!

Dear Walkere....Good post. You've got "old school" all over that set up. Reminds me a lot of the days when youth was on my side and all I needed was my cast net and $2.00 worth of gas.
