Went Sat. was working a bird off the roost had two set of trucks come in and try and cut him off, but they ended up spooking him instead, last time I heard him gobble was in another state. It was the most people that I've seen in my 20 years of hunting FM WMA. I hope the people thin out soon.

Good luck getting close enough to a public land bird to let the air out of him. generally, those birds get educated quickly

My buddy tagged out this morning with a FM bird. He does have an advantage over your typical public land hunter though.

I haven't seen many folks where I'm at but was hearing birds early and nothing now. Guess they got educated in between my visits...

Killed a double bearded bird yesterday morning in the Forest. Two came in gobbling their heads off. Saw no signs of other hunters (boot tracks, dip cans, etc...) I think I found a little honey hole.
