Has anyone know if the water temperature is high enough in the harbor to catch pinfish now? Has anyone caught any recently? My kids 3 and 4 yrs love to catch them from the dock, but we haven't seen any yet.

please tell me what this pin fish trap looked like

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

A pinfish trap is a scaled down version of a crab trap. BTW, galvanized/silver traps catch more fish than black ones.

will try and get a better photo, key is the slots that allow the pinfish in and nothing else.if it dosen't have the shape of a bream it can't get in. got it at Cudjo sales MM22 in the keys.
